Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Should I Tip?
SUGGESTED TIPPING GUIDE:
At the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, your ticket price includes the cost of your meal. However, it does not include the tip. Like any restaurant, gratuities are an excellent way for you to acknowledge the service you received and should reflect your level of satisfaction.
SUGGESTED TIPPING GUIDE:
- 18% – $6.30 per person (meal only)
- 20% – $7.00 per person (meal only)
- 25% – $8.75 per person (meal only)
We based the percentages listed above on the food portion of a regular-season ticket, which is approximately $35 per person. If you enjoy a premium drink, such as a bottle of wine or soda, you will receive a bill for beverages.
Note: Drinks Are Not Included in the Suggested Tipping Guide.
Is there a bar or somewhere to relax before a show?
Get an early start on the fun in our rustic themed Library Lounge. Reminiscent of a Carolina mountain lodge, in our library, you’ll find cozy seating, a roaring fireplace, and a fully stocked bar filled with your favorite libations.
Come in before the show for a great drink and delightful conversation or stay after for a chance to meet the cast.
Can you tell me about the food experience at the Alhambra?
Executive Chef DeJuan Roy, the former Executive Chef of 95 Cordova, creates a new menu for each production to highlight each show’s unique story and theme. If you visited our theater before 2009, you’d be happy to know that we have retired the buffet and replaced it with an improved three-course offering.
Each meal is served at your table and made to enhance your dinner theatre experience. Within our kitchen, we can craft specialty dishes for those with special dietary needs and cook tailored options for events hosted at the Alhambra Theatre.
